Henning Wagenbreth

About
Henning Wagenbreth, born 1962, lives in Berlin, works as an illustrator, draws typefaces, designs books, posters, newspapers and magazines, in sizes between postage stamps and giant hangers. He teaches as professor the illustration class at the University of Arts in Berlin.
The last years his interest turned towards the illustration of music. He started a band: The Mazookas play popular folk music from Eastern Europe to West America. Just as the band members admire the genius of untaught visual artists, they approach music as untaught musicians. The shows feature strange songs, unusual instruments, humour and an entertaining visual set.
